Our Favorite Red, White and Blue Modern Bathroom Ideas

Our Favorite Red, White and Blue Modern Bathroom Ideas

In honor of Memorial Day, today we’re featuring our favorite red, white and blue modern bathroom design ideas!  If you’ve got your own red, white or blue bath accessories or fixtures in your home, let us know in the comments.

Vigo Terrassa Vessel SinkRED
First up is a gorgeous red vessel sink by Vigo.  Made of 1/2 inch thick solid tempered glass, the Terrassa is perfect for making a bold statement in your modern bathroom.  It includes a matching faucet (vessel filler), which is a nice bonus, and is handmade, so no two sinks are alike – how cool is that?

Like many vessel sinks, the Terrassa is meant to sit above your vanity counter.  And because it’s a standard size, it can easily replace most other vessel sinks of similar dimensions.  What an affordable and quick way to give your bathroom a whole new look!

Fresca Quadro Pedestal VanityWHITE
White is often avoided in bathroom vanities because it seems plain, too vanilla to have much character.  That’s why I love this Fresca Quadro pedestal sink – just look at that modern design!  Shaped like the number seven when viewed from the side, its angular shape has a slight curve, giving it a warmth that many “modern” pieces lack.  The Quadro’s small size is ideal for a guest bath and its minimalist look is sure to turn heads when you have company.

A matching medicine cabinet is included and several free faucets are available with most Fresca vanities including this one!

Blue Glass TileBLUE
It wasn’t easy finding blue bathroom fixtures (other than sinks), but then I realized – what about tile?  I’ve always loved colorful, glass tile.  It has a cleaner look than ceramic and reflects a lot of light, which is great for making your bathroom seem bright and airy.  A quick search online and I found this lovely blue stacked-stone style mesh-backed tile on CoolTiles.com.

With its assortment of hues and varying widths, it has the appearance of tile that was individually installed by a master tiler – just beautiful!  I can imagine this in a shower, as a bathtub surround – even on the walls!

I hope you’ve enjoyed our spotlight on red, white and blue bathroom products – I know there’s a lot more we could have covered, but it’s a holiday weekend after all and we are looking forward to a break from blogging.  Plus, we have to save up our creative juices for the next color-themed holiday…maybe a roundup of orange and black modern bathroom designs for Halloween?
