Alana 69″ Soaking Bathtub by Wyndham Collection Review
We came across this gorgeous freestanding tub on a couple of different websites. The photo just makes me imagine living in Tokyo or some other high-tech city with lots of hip people on the streets no matter what time of night. Then there’s me, sitting high above all of the hustle and bustle, relaxing in my Alana tub after a hard day’s work while everyone else deals with the crowds.
Okay, enough of my fantasy! This tub really does deliver the goods when it comes to a good luxurious soak. It’s made from acrylic, which means it is stronger and more durable than other materials, and also more resistant to scratches, chips and dents. Plus, it’s warmer to the touch. Imagine stepping into your tub and not having that shock of cold when you lean back to close your eyes for the first time – that’s a real fantasy right there!
Now let’s discuss the design. Not only is it a lovely oval shape, but it’s tapered at one end to give it a real modern look. The thin wall construction means it won’t seem too massive in the room, which can make all the difference when it comes to determining how a free-standing bathtub will look in your newly remodeled bathroom. My favorite part of this tub’s design is the overall minimalistic appearance. No clawfeet, no top lip overhang – just a pure, simple clean look that says “modern” without going overboard.
If you’ve got the space for a free-standing tub, I’m jealous. And if you buy this Alana bathtub, I’m really jealous! We found it for $1499.95 at ModernBathroom.com if you’re as eager as we are to take a relaxing dip in this beautiful tub. Buy the Alana 69″ Soaking Bathtub >
